How it works
Drop the PDF and the first page opens large with a crop frame on it. Drag the frame over the part you want to keep and pull its corner to resize it; the arrow keys nudge it for precision. By default the same crop applies to every page — untick "Same crop on every page" to crop pages one by one using the page strip. The cropped copy builds itself as you go, with a preview of a real cropped page, and Download saves it with "-cropped" added to the name. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account and there is no page limit.

Sideways pages
The frame is drawn on the page as you see it. If a page is stored sideways and turned by the reader, the crop still lands on what you framed, the right way up.
What cropping does — and doesn't
Cropping sets the visible area of each page, the way every PDF reader and printer understands it. The text inside the frame stays sharp and selectable, and nothing is re-compressed. But the parts outside the frame are hidden, not deleted: they are still inside the file, and someone with an editing tool could reveal them. That is fine for trimming margins. If you are cutting something out because it is private — an account number, an address, another person's details — use Redact PDF, which removes it for good.

Need to turn or reorder pages first? Organize PDF. Cropping doesn't make a file smaller on its own; for a portal size limit use Compress PDF. A locked PDF must be opened first with Unlock PDF.

How do I crop a PDF on my phone for free?

Can I crop each page differently?
Yes. Untick "Same crop on every page", then pick a page from the strip and set its frame. Pages you don't open stay as they are.
Does cropping delete the hidden part?
No. Cropping hides it in readers and printers, but it stays inside the file. To remove private details for good, use Redact PDF instead.
Will cropping reduce the file size?
Usually not, because the content is still in the file. To make a PDF smaller for an upload, use Compress PDF after cropping.
Does the text stay selectable?
Yes. Only the visible area changes; the text, links and quality inside the frame are untouched.
