How it works
Drop the PDF, type the words and the watermark appears across every page, with a preview of the real result. Pick a layout, how strong it looks and a colour, then press Download. The copy is saved on your phone or computer with "-watermarked" added to the name. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account and there is no daily limit — and we never add a watermark of our own.
Protect copies of your ID documents
This is the most useful thing a watermark does in India. When a bank, landlord, employer or SIM shop asks for a copy of your Aadhaar, PAN, passport or marksheet, stamp it with what it is for — "For HDFC home loan KYC only" or "Given to ABC Properties for the rent agreement, March 2026". If that copy is later misused for another loan or another SIM, the purpose written across it makes the misuse obvious, and a careful clerk will refuse it.
Choices
- Layout: diagonal across the middle, straight across, or repeated over the whole page so it cannot be cropped out.
- Strength: light, medium or strong. Light keeps the document easy to read; strong is hard to ignore.
- Colour: grey, red, blue or black.
- Size: small, medium or large.
Hindi and other scripts
Type the words in Hindi if you like — "केवल KYC के लिए". English words are written into the page as real text; Hindi and other scripts are stamped as a sharp picture of your words, so they look right in every PDF reader, even one without Hindi fonts.
What ends up in the file
The watermark becomes part of each page, not a separate layer or comment that a viewer can hide or delete with one click. The original text underneath stays selectable and searchable, the page count does not change, and sideways pages get the watermark upright, as you see them.
When people use it
ID copies for KYC, draft agreements marked "DRAFT", internal reports marked "CONFIDENTIAL", sample chapters marked "SAMPLE", and certificates shared with a single employer.

Questions people ask
How do I watermark a copy of my Aadhaar card?
Drop the Aadhaar PDF here, type the purpose — for example "For bank KYC only" — and download. The words are stamped across every page on your own phone, and the Aadhaar never leaves your device.
Can the watermark be removed later?
Not with a click. It is drawn into each page like the rest of the content, not added as a removable layer or comment. Like any printed mark, it could only be covered by editing the page itself.
Can I write the watermark in Hindi?
Yes. Hindi and other scripts are stamped as a sharp picture of your words, so they display correctly everywhere. English text is written into the page as real text.
Will the watermark hide my text?
Not at the default strength. The stamp is see-through, so the document stays readable. Choose Light for a gentle mark or Strong when it must stand out.
Do you add your own watermark?
Never. The only mark in the file is the one you type. There is no free-version stamp, no sign-up and no limit on how many files you watermark.
