Rotate PDF pages and save them

How it works

Drop the PDF and every page appears as a small picture. Tap a page to turn it a quarter to the right; tap again to keep turning. To turn the whole document, press Turn all left or Turn all right. The file is saved with your changes as you go — press Download to keep it, with "-rotated" added to the name. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account and there is no page limit.

Why pages come out sideways

A phone scanner app guesses which way is up and sometimes guesses wrong. A landscape table in a report is often stored sideways. A form scanned upside down in an office copier stays upside down. Most PDF viewers let you rotate the view, but that only lasts until you close the file — the person you send it to, and the portal you upload it to, still see it sideways. Rotating here saves the turn into the PDF itself.

Nothing is redrawn

Pages are turned, not re-scanned or converted to pictures. Each page simply records which way is up, the same way professional PDF editors do it. Text stays real text you can search and copy, links keep working, the quality is exactly the same and the file size barely changes.

Tips

• A page that is upside down needs two taps.
• Big PDFs show small pictures for the first pages only, to stay fast on a phone; Turn all still turns every page.
• Changed your mind? Reset puts every page back the way it came.

Good companions
