Why check before you upload?

When an online form rejects your photo, you often find out only after you submit — or worse, after the last date. Most rejections come from a few simple things: the file is too big or too small, the pixel size is wrong, the file is not really a JPG, or the background is not plain. This checker looks at your file the way a portal does and tells you, rule by rule, whether it will pass.

How it works

For photos you can also tap Also check the face. This checks that there is exactly one face, that it is a good size and in the middle, and that the photo isn't blurry. It needs a one-time download of about 4 MB.

What we check

Fix it in one tap

If something fails, tap Fix it now. We open the right tool — exam photo, signature, or image compressor — with your file already loaded and the rules for your exam already set. You don't have to choose the file again.

Which exams and forms?

Right now: SSC, UPSC, NEET UG, IBPS PO, Passport Seva and PAN. Each exam page shows when its rules were last checked against the official notification, with a link to the source. Rules change between notifications, so please read the official notice too.

Your files stay private

The check runs completely on your phone or computer. Your photo, signature and file names are never sent to us or anyone else.

Questions people ask

Does checking change my file?

No. The checker only reads your file. It is not changed, saved or uploaded. If you choose "Fix it now", the fixed version is a new file and your original stays as it is.

Why does it say my JPG is really a PNG?

Renaming a file doesn't change its format. Many portals check the real format and reject the file. Tap "Fix it now" and we'll save a proper JPG for you.

The form says 50 KB and my file is 50.5 KB. Will it pass?

It depends on how the site counts a KB. To be safe, keep it under 50,000 bytes. The checker warns you whenever a file is in this grey zone, and the fix tools always stay inside both limits.

My exam isn't listed. Can I still use it?

Use the image compressor and enter the size and KB from your notification. We are adding more exams, including state PSC exams.
