Exact size and more options
Used for cm, mm and inch. Most forms use 200.
A comfortable limit, if your photo cooperates
200 KB is one of the friendlier caps — common on job portals, college forms, matrimonial and property sites, and as the photo limit for exams like NEET. The catch is that photos straight off a phone camera are still ten to forty times bigger. Drop yours above; the 200 KB target is preselected and the compressed result appears with its size shown before and after.
Keeping quality is the easy part here
With 200 KB to spend, almost any sensible photo stays visibly identical: we lower the pixel count only as far as needed, then use a high JPG quality for the rest. Where people go wrong is uploading the original 4,000-pixel image at brutal quality settings from some other tool — that is what produces the blocky, smudged photos that get forms rejected for "unclear image". Size first, quality second is the right order, and it is automatic here.
Documents photographed with a phone
200 KB also suits photographed documents — a certificate, a bill, an address proof — where you need the text to stay readable. We keep text edges sharp by preferring pixel reduction over quality destruction. For multi-page documents, consider combining the photos into a compact PDF instead; portals that accept PDFs usually prefer one file, and our PDF compressor can hold it under a limit like 500 KB.
Everything else you might need

- Up to 50 photos at once, downloaded as one ZIP.
- iPhone HEIC photos convert automatically; location and camera metadata are removed.
In your browser, not on a server
Your photos are processed on your own device and never uploaded. There is nothing to wait for and nothing stored anywhere.
Exam and government uploads
If this photo is for a Sarkari form, use the exam photo maker — it also fixes the background and centring — or run your existing file through the upload checker to see every rule checked before you submit.
Questions people ask
My photo is already under 200 KB. Will it be touched?
We tell you it already fits and leave the pixels alone, so you can download it unchanged or still apply an exact size if the form wants one.
What pixel size do I get at 200 KB?
Large enough for any form — typically well over 1,000 pixels on the long side for a normal photo. If you need a specific size, set it and we hit it exactly.
Can I use this for a photographed document?
Yes. Text stays readable because we reduce pixels before harming quality. For several pages, a compressed PDF is usually the better upload.
Is anything uploaded while compressing?
No. The whole job runs in your browser on your device, and the photo never leaves it.
